Empowering Families, Inc.

Empowering Families, Inc. is a home-based early intervention program. We provide services for to infants and toddlers, birth to 36 months with developmental delays, disabilities or who are at risk for developing a delay or disability.

 

Our Early Intervention Program (also known as Infant Development Program) addresses the following developmental areas through play-based intervention: cognitive, receptive and expressive language, fine and gross motor, social-emotional and self-help.

As a family-centered program, we work also collaboratively with families and other professionals to create developmentally appropriate goals for the child.

Our Services

One-on-One Sessions 

We provide play-based one-on-one sessions in the family's home and/or virtually (tele-intervention).

Play-Based Assessments

We use play-based assessments to measure skill performance during natural, child-driven play.

Consulting Services 

We provide Physical, Occupational, and Speech and Language Therapy consultations.

 

We provide mental health consultations and referrals.

Community Resources & Referrals

We provide a variety of community resources ranging from housing resources to domestic violence and immigration resources.  

Virtual Sessions 

We offer virtual sessions, also known as tele-intervention, as a safe and convenient option for our families that can easily be incorporated into the child's routine.
